WELCOME
TO OUR ALTERNATIVE PROVISION

Supporting young people in Key Stage 4 and post-16 education to re-engage with learning, build confidence and achieve recognised qualifications.

  • Specialist creative learning opportunities complementing a learner’s existing educational provision.
  • Part-time placements for young people, enabling schools to incorporate our provision into an individual learner’s wider education programme.
  • Small-group learning environments:  accessible, inclusive, tailored workshops to help young people re-engage with education, build confidence and discover their potential.

Creativity as a vehicle for learning

We offer a practical, inclusive and tailored approach to learning that helps young people connect with education in new ways. Whether a learner already has a passion for the creative arts or would benefit from exploring a new interest, we use creativity to spark curiosity, develop skills and encourage motivation.

Our team combines teaching expertise with real-world creative industry experience, bringing learning to life and helping young people understand how their interests can translate into future opportunities. We are passionate about teaching young people technical industry skills through practical learning opportunities (whether it is learning in our recording studio, or learning event management skills from a real-world brief). Through unique learning opportunities, we help learners explore their strengths and discover new pathways to further education and employment.

Our Curriculum

Students can work towards recognised vocational qualifications including Music Technology and Creative Arts, alongside Functional Skills qualifications in English and Maths. This pathway is designed to nurture their personal development and educational progression, and highlight opportunities in future employment and training.

Learners can also do short courses in employability skills, digital skills, health and wellbeing, health and wellbeing, communication and teamwork, and enterprise.

We work with young people who may be:

  • At risk of becoming NEET (not in education, employment or training).
  • Experiencing barriers to engagement and achievement within mainstream education, including young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
  • Care-experienced, including young people preparing to leave or transitioning from care.
  • Experiencing low confidence, anxiety or challenges with engagement, participation and progression.
  • Seeking alternative or personalised pathways into education, further training, employment or volunteering.
